E.T.’s Birthday Bash feat. Andre Kuipers
Hurrah, it's E.T's birthday! World's most famous and cuddly alien alive is about to hit 30 this year and guess what, he told us he wants to come celebrate it especially with his Dutch fans, the small and big ones, at the 7th edition of the Leiden International Film Festival.
Of course we will all join together to watch him on the big screen one more time to check out his amazing performance from exactly 30 years ago (wasn't he great?), before we celebrate and bring out the balloons, cake and lemonade.
But there's more. Especially for E.T. we invited a dear friend of his, all the way from space: astronaut André Kuipers! The two will probably have quite some catching up to do, but fortunately for us André reserved some time to answer questions from the audience about his journey in space, right after the movie. And a special request goes out to you all: as we can see in the picture - ET loves to dress up. He visited earth during Halloween for a reason. So get festive and come dressed in your bestest, funniest or scariest Halloween outfit and we will make it one big celebration!
